A recent survey showed consumers want easy-to-clean appliance shelving and racks that save them time and hassle, and large majorities are willing to pay more for easier-to-maintain features.
More than 1,300 respondents to a SurveyMonkey questionnaire shared their opinions on the pros and cons of refrigerator shelving and oven racks. Among the responses, and 2,700 distinct comments, survey participants displayed a clear preference for innovative refrigerator shelving and oven racks. Information included in the results:
• 80% of respondents prefer Spill Smart™ Hydrophobic Refrigerator Shelving over traditional shelving
• 79% are willing to pay more for Spill Smart™ Hydrophobic Shelving
• 80% prefer Self Clean Porcelain Oven Racks over nickel-plated oven racks, and nearly two thirds prefer porcelain slide racks that provide improved accessibility
